Organic & Sustainable Baby Essentials

This post is for the momma-to-be or new momma in your life! Sustainable and ethical clothing doesn’t have to be relegated to only adult clothing. In fact, it may been even more crucial (for health purposes) to clothe little ones in organic and nontoxic clothing. The clothing featured in today’s blog is 100% organic cotton, which means that no toxic pesticides or chemicals were used to grow the cotton. A win for the Earth and for health, too!

Nordstrom

Nordstrom has the cutest organic cotton sweater for the little bundle of joy. This sweater is so cute and cuddly, it’s basically a knit blanket – except with buttons and a hood.

This will be perfect to keep the little one warm as the weather gets cooler. It’s made of 100% organic cotton and comes in a variety of colors: grey, white or blue. The grey color is shown in the image above. The sweater available in sizes from 0m up to 18m. You can get it here for $35.00.

Pact Organic

Pact Organic (who carries a variety of great essentials for women and men) has a new line of organic cotton clothing for babies (and kids)! Pact now carries everything from basic onesies to pants, bibs, socks, and hats. Pact’s cotton is 100% organic cotton – and certified to the GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard). I’ve included some of my favorite picks from Pact below.

Long-Sleeve Bodysuit

The long-sleeve bodysuit comes in a set of 3. You can choose from a standard white or grey set, a range of blues set, and a range of pinks set. Each 3 pack is available here for $20. Sizes are available from 0m  – 12m

Reversible Beanie

Make sure your little one stays warm this fall and winter season with the reversible beanie. Reversible means double the fun, and double the versatility! I am loving the ‘Alpine’ and ‘Folkloric’ prints. Each hat is available for $10 here.
